CONTROL OF BRITISH ROUTES VALUABLE AID TO SAFETY Special Correspondent. Rec. 9 p.m. LONDON, Apl. 15. The Air Ministry has established a new air traffic service to control all aircraft flying over British routes at home and overseas. Built into the R.A.F. control system, it will provide 'an air traffic headquarters for Britain and one for each R.A.F. command overseas. Each headquarters will divide its zone into flight safety regions, commanded by area control centres. These headquarters and the control centres will be responsible jointly for safety aids, navigational warnings, information on airfield serviceability, briefing and traffic control.
