AMENDMENTS TO SCHEDULE The following amendments are announced to the import licensing schedule: Almond and nuts, all kinds n.e.i. (except peanuts)—ex'item 52 (1)). Walnuts, shelled o r unshelled —item 52 (4): The allocations in respect of almonds and nuts, except peanuts (ex item 52/1) snd walnuts (item 52/4) have been increased from 100 to 150 per cent, of the amounts of' 1946 licences issued in respect of similar goods. Woollen and worsted piece goods from Australia—item 183 (2): The yardage shown on licences issued in respect of woollen and worsted piece goods frqm Australia represents lineal measurement. Fancy goods—ex item 239: With reference to the decision in circular memorandum 1947/8 fixing an allocation for imports of fancy goods from the United Kingdom to the extent of 50 per cent, of the value of the applicant’s imports of similar goods from the same source in 1933 each importer’s allocation will be based on his 1938 imports from the United Kingdom of fancy goods only and figures relating to the following goods, which are shown separately in the licensing schedule, cannot be included for licensing purposes - —Toys,* walking sticks, etc., gaming devices and requisites, sporting and athletic requisites n.e.i., fishing.tackle n.e.i., etc., combs (hairdressers), combs (hair and toilet).
