TOWNSWOMEN’S GUILD
The opening meeting of the Townwomen’s Guild was held last Tuesday evening in the Pioneer Women’s Memorial Hall. The president, Mrs E. T. Seymour, welcomed the members and wished the guild a successful year. Many letters had been received from the North Harrow Guild (England) expressing gratitude for the parcels received and appreciation of their contents. An attractive programme was presented by Mrs W. J... White's party. Songs were given by -Mesdames Focker and White and Miss Dowie, and recitations by Mrs Hamer and Misses Dowie and Lawrence. The accompanist was Mrs T. Dick.
