SOVIET LEND LEASE
AMERICA SEEKS SETTLEMENT WASHINGTON, Jan. 3. The State Department announced that the United States had asked Russia for the third time to begin negotiations immediately to end the deadlock over the settlement of the 11.000,000.000 dollars lend-lease account. The Soviet has ignored two earlier requests, the first of which was made last September.
