RUSSIAN OR ANY OTHER EXTREMIST BODY’S STATEMENT (Rec. 7 p.m.) LONDON, Dec. 30. The Irgun Zvai Leumi, replying to a questionnaire submitted by a British United Press correspondent at TelAviv, through an Irgun agent, stated that the Irgun Zvai Leumi would accept Russian or any other help. The replv states that the Irgun is struggling to liberate “ our land from the foreign ruler.” One question was, “The British are the best friends the Jews have. Are you anti-British?” The reply was, “ British friendship is a legend which was smashed In our generation, particularly during the annihilation of 6,000,000 Jews in Europe.” Asked whether it would accept the United Nations decision on Palestine, the Irgun replied, “We have not lost hope in international justice. Meanwhile, we must secure the bleeding nation’s life and home defence. Asked the attitude if the Arabs fought for an Arabian Palestine, Irgun replied, “If Arabs, with whom we seek no quarrel, attacked us .it would be at British instigation and with British arms. We would protect ourselves. /
