Herbert.—The final meeting of the year was held recently, Mrs Marshall presiding. A demonstration of toy-making was given by Mrs Wilkinson, and this was followed by a demonstration of papier mache, stencilling, and parchment work by Mrs Marshall. The competitions resulted:— Single bloom, Mrs Beckingsale and Mrs Marshall (equal) 1, Mrs Gerrie 2, Mrs Kennedy 3,: Truss, Mrs Beckingsale 1, Mrs Gerrie 2. Mrs Kennedy 3.
