OAMARU’S SOCIAL EVENING The Oamaru Miniature Rifle Club held a successful social evening recently. Mr j, May, president, presented the following trophies, won during the season:— Club championship (Gemmell Cup and trophy), H. McLardy; Robertson Memorial Shield and trophy, J. May: W. May Shield,. D. Whittaker; Doran Shield, D. Paul; patron’s trophy, R. Wilson; president’s trophy, D. Whittaker; Mr W. Youngman’s trophy, D. Moffitt; Mr I. C. Swinard's trophy, H. 1 Rawson; Mr A. Hunter’s trophy, I. Forbes; Mr J. Boylen s trophy, I. Swinard; Mr H. McLardy s trophy, B. Forbes; Mr E. Swinard’s trophy. H. Newson: Mr F. Cropp’s trophy, I. Bain. Mr W. May (president of the North Otago Miniature Rifle Association) presented association trophies to the following:—J. May, H. McLardy and M. Stockdill.
