INCREASE IN BIRTHS The number ol births recorded in Dunedin during the month of August showed an increase of 27 over the figures for the corresponding month of last year. Marriages showed an increase of 26, and there were 20 fewer deaths. The figures for the month are as follows:
Marriages .. 122 96 The figures for the eight months ended yesterday showed that there were 183 more marriages and 186 more births than for the corresponding months of last year.
