COMPANY DIVIDENDS
,PA> WELLINGTON, Aug. 30 The Silverton Tramway Company has declared its 160th dividend of sixpence ner share payable on September 2a. Advice has been received that interim dividends on the ordinary shares of General Industries Ltd. at the rate of 10 per cent, per annum (5 per cent, for the halfvear) and on the preference shares at the rate of 7 per cent, per annum (3j poi cent for the half-year), will be paid on September 30. , The directors of Dominion Farmers in<d'tute Ltd. have recommended the payment 'of the annual dividend of 4 per cent, for the year ended on April 30. ;94G.
