PRICES IN AMERICA
FURTHER INCREASES ALLOWED (Rec. 7 p.m.) WASHINGTON, Aug. 15. The Office of Price Administration has authorised retail price increases ranging from 3 to 12 per cent, on radios, stoves, washing machines, vacuum cleaners, crockery, toasters, irons, typewriters, and other office equipment and consumer goods.
