PARTIAL INTERRUPTION UNION CALLS MEN OUT (Rec. 0.30 a.m.) NEW VORK Aug 15. Shpiping on the Great Lakes was partially halted at midnight yesterday when the National Maritime Union called out 4500 members of the Great Lakes ships in order to enforce demands for higher wages and a reduction of the working week from 56 hours to 40 hours.
