FULL-BACK INJURED
AUSTRALIAN RUGBY TEAM BROKEN ANKLE FEARED (Rec. 0.30 a.m.) SYDNEY. Aug. 12. Ron Rankin, who was selected as full-back for the Australian Rugby Union team to tour New Zealand, is on crutches as a result of an injury received on Saturday. His doctor fears that the ankle is broken. If the doctor’s fears are confirmed by X-ray examination, Rankin will be forced to withdraw from the team.
