ROYAL MALE CHOIR
PATIENTS ENTERTAINED The Royal Dunedin Male Choir, under the direction of Mr Ernest Drake, and under the auspices of the Patients and Prisoners’ Aid Society, entertained the patients at Seacliff Mental Hospital on Saturday evening. The programme included a number of bright part songs by the choir. Two of the members, Messrs Bert Romeril and Jack McKechnie, contributed solos. Another member of the choir, Mr N R. Mclsaac, told humorous stories, and the assistnig soloists were Misses Edna Thompson and Valda McCracken and Mr Harry Naylor. The evening was enjoyed by the gatients, and at the close Dr Malcolm rown, the medical superintendent, expressed thanks on behalf of the patients and staff, and Mr Norman Ellis, as chairman, replied on behalf of the choir'.
