MORE ARRIVALS
UNITED KINGDOM DELEGATES (P.A.) ' AUCKLAND, Aug. 11. The two United Kingdom representatives for'the meeting in Wellington on Thursday of the Committee for Air Navigation and Ground Organisation and the Committee of Meteorologists, two standing committees of the South Pacific Air Transport Council, arrived by flying boat from Sydney. They were Wing Commander L. L. Johnson, an official of the Air Ministry Traffic Control, on loan to the Ministry of Civil Aviation, and Mr E. Evans, a meteorological officer of the Air Ministry. The two delegates left Poole by flying boat on the previous Sunday. Accompanied by a New Zealand officer and the three Australian delegates, who arrived on Friday, they will leave for Fiji to-morrow by special R.N.Z.A.F. Lodestar to examine the landing facilities there, and will return to New Zealand in time for the opening of the conference.
