BUILDING SECTIONS
PROVISION FOR SERVICEMEN (From Our Parliamentary Reporter) WELLINGTON, July 25. Steps to see that where comparatively large areas of land were acquired for Government housing schemes at least a small proportion was set aside to be offered as individual building sections to ex-servicemen who desired to purchase sections on which to erect their own homes were urged by Mr M H. Oram (Oppn., Manawatu) in notice of a question to the Minister of Lands, Mr C F. Skinner, in the House of Representatives to-day “ It has been operating for months,” interjected Mr J. Thorn (Govt., Thames).
