MR GANDHI'S OPINION
WORLD WILL BE DISGUSTED BOMBAY, July 7. Mr Gandhi, writing about the atomic bomb in his magazine, Harijan, says: “It has been suggested by American friends that the atomic bomb will bring in non-violence as nothing else can. It will if it is meant that its destructive power will so disgust the world as to turn it from violence for the time being.” Mr Gandhi prophesised that the world would return to violence with “ renewed zeal ” after the effect of the disgust had worn off.
