RARE PHENOMENON
METEOR SEEN IN DAYLIGHT (P.A.) WELLINGTON, July 8. A brilliant meteor travelling in a southerly direction was noticed by people in and near Wellington shortly before 11 a.m. to-day. Mr I. L. Thomson, Director of the Carter Observatory, said that meteors visible in daylight were rare phenomena, and he was desirous of obtaining information regarding observations.
