FALKLAND ISLANDS
ARGENTINA CLAIMS RETURN DEMAND TO UNITED NATIONS BUENOS AIRES, (Rec. 9 p.m.) July 6. The Chamber of Deputies unanimously passed a resolution asking Colonel Peron to demand the United Nations to take steps to have the Falkland Islands returned to Argentina, says the New York Times correspondent. It was an unusual action, because Colonel Peron has announced that Argentina’s signature to the United Nations Charter and the Chatultpec agreement would not be valid until Congress had approved the pacts. Ar« gentina has a long claim to the Falkland Islands, which it calls the Islas Lalvinas.
