TRANSPORT LICENCES
METROPOLITAN AUTHORITY RESERVED DECISIONS GIVEN The Dunedin Metropolitan Transport Licensing Authority has given its reserved decisions in a number of applications which came before it at a meeting this week. Applications for renewals of their passenger service licences by the Peninsula Motor Service and the Dunedin Corporation Transport were granted. In respect to the Tomahawk licence operated by the Peninsula company, the time table was amended as agreed upon between the local Improvement Association and the company. The application of the Dunedin Corporation Transport to amend its seasonal observation tour licences was granted. The application of E. J. Flanagan to transfer his taxi cab service to Stanley Francis'Easton was granted. Three applications from returned servicemen for taxi cab service licences were adjourned pending a review of the whole position by the authority.
