OAMARU R.S.A.

EXECUTIVE MEETING The monthly meeting of the Oamaru R.S.A. executive was held on Tuesday night, Mr I. T, Catto (president) being in the chair. There were also present Messrs R. E.'Dimick, J. F. Ericson, J. McLeod, B. U. Stanger, J. Tavendale, F. Addison, E, M. Freeman, I. R. Hedges, W. Burdett, J. Graham, FI. Spencer, D. H. Scott, and the secretary (M r A. C. Piper). Mr Catto gave a cordial welcome to the new members of the executive —Messrs McLeod, Freeman, Hedges and Scott—and wished them a happy time in the work of the R.S A., which, he said, they would find very interesting. Mr Catto also welcomed Mr Spencer back to the executive after his absence through illness. The secretary was directed to write thanking the Women’s Section of the R.S.A. for its invitation to executive members and their wives to attend its birthday party. , , Messrs Burdett and Stanger reported on hospital visits, and Messrs Catto and Freeman were appointed visitors for the coming month. , , , Thirty-six new members were elected, and 9 inward and 4 outward transfers were approved.
