MR T. R. BEATTY’S NOMINATION Mr T. R. Beatty, the ' National Party's candidate, who contested the pamarU seat at the last general election, has again accepted nomination as the party’s candidate for this seat at the forthcoming election. Mr Beatty’s nomination form lias already gone forward, and is being freelv signed by his supporters. MR LANEY’S NOMINATION Last night a deputation waited on Mr W. R. Lanev, a master at the Waitaki Boys’ High School, and requested him to accept nomination for selection as the National Party's candidate for the Oamaru seat at the general election. Mr Laney thanked the deputation and acceded to its request.
