WHIT MONDAY HOLIDAY
LONDON A TIRED CITY LONDON, June 10. London seemed a rather tired city for the Whit Monday holiday.. The throngs of the week-end had disappeared from the streets, and there was comparatively little traffic. A railway official said: “The people spent their energy and money on victory parading. They have nothing left for today.”
