TOKEN SHIPMENT PREVENTED (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) OTTAWA, Feb. 13. Trade Department officials, commenting on a Wellington report that New Zealand was permitting the import of only a few cars from Canada, although British imports were widely increased, said that Canada had planned to send a token shipment to New Zealand early in 1946, but the steel and other strikes prevented it.
