LAWLESS ELEMENTS STEPS FOR SUPPRESSION MANILA, Jan. 3. The Defence Department announced that 10,00 sub-machine guns have been issued to 19,000 members of the Filipino Army and military police for operations against lawless elements, particularly in Central Luzon.
