SYDNEY NUDISTS
COLONY’S NEW YEAR PLANS (OO SYDNEY, Dec. 19. Sydney's nudist colony of 100 members has plans to expand m the New Year. A wealthy member of the club has promised to finance the purchase of a hide-out, which must have a pool, if a fitting place can be found Executives of the club which is called the Sydney Health and Sunbathing League, have travelled hundreds of miles in the last four months and found dozens of spots which would be ideal for a nudist colony. But they have had to rule them all out because they are within reach of innocent picnickers or malicious Peeping Toms. Members have gone to four secluded spots around Sydney found by their leaders, and debated in the nude whether the location is the hideout they desire. Each time the aiiswei has been “ No." , , A noar-crisis developed one recent scorching Sunday when nudist couples went to a shadeless, waterless part or Liverpool, undressed, and met under a blazing sun. Tempers became frayed and there was some straight talking and criticism of the organisation's leaders.
