THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY STATE BANQUET FOR DELEGATES ißec. 1 a.m.) LONDON, Jan. 1. On January 9, the eve of the opening of the General Assembly of the United Nations Organisation, the King will give the first State banquet for six years to delegates at St. James’s Palace. It will be a “men only” function, and the Queen and the Princesses will not attend. The banquet will be a threee-couvse meal within the Ministry of Food specifications and with austerity measures fully enforced.
