THE GERMAN GROUP DIVINE SERVICE ATTENDED (Rec. 11 p.m.) LONDON, Jan. 1. On the eve of what promises to be a momentous year for them, the 12 major Nazi war criminals are throwing aside lonsiderations of the trial in which they are fighting for their lives. Last night they* attended divine service in the prison chapel, says the American Press Nuremburg correspondent. Goering, Ribbentrop, Keitel, Doenitz, Sauekel, Speer, Schacht, Funk, Frick, Shirach, and Fritsche took their places in the chapel. The Prague radio cut in on New Year celebrations to announce the escape from gaol of the notorious S.S. mass murderer, Willy Kunbe, who is believed to be trying to escape to Austria.
