CHARGES NOT PROVED
AIDING ILLEGAL ENTRY (Rec. 9.50 p.m.) JERUSALEM, Dec. 22. The Haifa District Court acquitted the master and five members of the crew of the Greek vessel Demetrios on charges of aiding persons illegally to enter Palestine. H.M.S. Peacock intercepted the Demetrios on November 22 off Sidna Ali coastguard station. The prosecution failed to prove that 20 passengers aboard were illegal immigrants.
