CITIZENS’ DAY NURSERY

The Dunedin Citizens’ Day Nursery Committee held its monthly meeting on Tuesday. There was a good attendance of members, and the president, Mrs J. McGill, was in the chair. The secretary reported that attendances for November were 601, that 138 mothers had used the rooms, and 34 extra dinners had been provided. In view of the fact that this year’s attendance of children at the nursery was the highest on record, the committee decided to look into the matter of accommodation early in the New Year. Other matters of business were discussed and arranged.
