GROUP GOING TO AMERICA WASHINGTON. (Rec. 9.15 p.m.) Oct. 1. The War Department announced that a group of outstanding German scientists are being brought to the United States on a voluntary basis and under army supervision, “to ensure we tak-. full advantage of those significant do velopments which are deemed vital i our national security.”
