GUARDS ARRESTED
(Rec. 1 a.m.) LONDON, Oct. 3. Four guards who were with Archbishop Theophilus, the Coptic Orthodox Patriarch, in Jerusalem when he was shot, have been arrested, says the Exchange Telegraph’s Cairo correspondent. They are charged with acting as accomplices in the murder. The crime is believed to have been an act of vengeance without political or religious significance.
