V-E DAY
On the motion of the chairman (Mr A. W. Barnett), the Oamaru Harbour Board yesterday recorded thankfulness to God for victory, guidance, and sustaining power, and to the Allied leaders, armies, navies, airmen, sailors, and all who had given unselfish service. Members pledged themselves to work for more co-operation and goodwill.
