THE PRICE OF FISH
Sir. —“ Open Season ” has not the technique of a certain political party in twisting facts. He admits the retailer sells him fish by weight, bones and all, but when he works the price of the fillets he bought he costs on the price of the fillets only. He should include the bones, etc., and add the retailer's overhead, including waste, before calculating profits. If he would welcome the return of the days of four large soles for 2s at the wharf, he will have to take Government control off, not on, as these were sold by the owners of small craft in the days of free enterprise.—l am, etc., Free Enterprise. , Dunedin, June 6.
