BUNNERONG STRIKERS
WORK RESUMED YESTERDAY SYDNEY, May 21. The threat to Sydney’s electricity supply was removed to-day when tne striking employees at Bunnerong powerhouse returned to work. The union leaders recommended the mens return following the issue of a national security order by the Federal GovernThe strike, which had lasted 10 days, also threatened serious trouble on the coalfields and in other industries because the engine drivers and firemen objected to providing power which they believed might be “ fed, in ” to the Sydney electricity supply area.
