CITY POLICE COURT
Saturday, May 19 (Before Mr J. R. Bartholomew, S.M.) Remands Granted Stanley Frederick Moore, aged 34, a moulder’s labourer, was charged with breaking and entering the premises of Messrs Nestle and Anglo-Swiss Condensed Milk Company, Ltd., with intent to commit a crime.—On the application of Senior Detective H. J. Le Sueur the accused, who was not represented by counsel, was remanded until Friday next. Alfred Elliott Baker, aged 32, a painter, who was represented by Mr F. M. Hanan, and a youth, aged 17. for whom Mr G. M. Lloyd appeared, were charged with breaking and entering the (premises of Messrs D. H. Blackie, Ltd., and stealing goods valued at £l4; and also with stealing two sets of dies and a bicycle valued in all at £2l 15s. the property of D. H. Blackie, Ltd. —Detective Le Sueur said that further inquiries were being made, and the accused were remanded until Friday next. Baker was admitted to bail in the sum of £IOO and one surety of £IOO. Bail for the youth was fixed at £SO and one surety of £SO.
