The No. XI Armed Forces Appeal Board —Messrs W. R. Clarke (chairman), T. McCulloch, and D. T. Vorley—held a’ sitting yesterday. The secretary (Mr W. J. Biackler) represented the Crown. Sine die adjournments were granted in the following appeals:—E. C. Heads (general hand), to be available to the manpower officer; W. Love for E. J. Brown (plasterer); Sargood, Son and Ewen, Ltd., for G. Byers (cutter); Tudor Clothing Co. for I. G. Chapman (presser) and G. W. Wilhelmsen (partner); Bennett and Sons, for H. O. Bennett (nurseryman); H. L. Steedman, Ltd., for H. G. Scott (presser). The following appeals were adjourned until the dates mentioned:—Next sitting: Silverstone Joinery, Ltd., for C. A.
