(Rec. 8.45 p.m.) LONDON, Mar. 25. Berlin radio, in a special announcement. admitted that the Allied bombing of communications had forced the abandonment of a plan to evacuate the inhabitants of Essen and Dusseldorf in Westphalia. The radio told the Germans that only men belonging to the younger age groups are to be evacuated. They are bidden to take food for three days and to be prepared to march into the interior of Germany.
