INVERCARGILL TRUST
REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (Special) INVERCARGILL, Mar. 23. A request for information about the workings of the Invercargill Licensing Trust was received at a meeting of the trust to-day from Mr J. D. Willis, counsel assisting the Royal Commission on the Licensing Laws of the Dominion. Mr Willis asked for the first annual report of the trust, or, if it was not available, an interim report or any other information. The commission would be sitting in Invercargill, he said, and a full report of the operations of the trust would be wanted It was decided to write to Mr Willis stating that the end of the trust’s financial year was March 31, and that a report and financial statement would be available after that date.
