OBITUARY
MRS HARRIETT MITCHELL The death occurred at Christchurch on Wednesday of Mrs Harriett Mitchell, who resided at Oamaru for over 60 years. Mrs Mitchell was born at Clive, Hawke’s Bay. and came to Oamaru with her husband, who for many years was emploved by the Oamaru Mail as a compositor. After his death Mrs Mitchell continued to live in Oamaru until a few years ago. when she removed to Christchurch. She leaves two sons—Mr Jack Mitchell, of Wellington, and Mr Fred Mitchell, of Oamaru—and two daughters, Mrs Gibson, of Wellington, and Mrs J. Wilson, of Christchurch. There are 18 grand-chil-dren and 8 great-grand-children.
