EARLY SETTLERS’ ASSOCIATION
Mr R. B. Meek (president) was in the chair at a meeting of the North Otago Early Settlers’ Association. Mr Meek extended a welcome to Mrs M. A, Ross, a very old resident of North Otago, as a member. Mesdames J. P. Orr. G. W. Adamson, P. Grant, Boyd, and Berry were also accepted as members. Mr Meek referred to the deaths of the following members, tributes being paid to their memory:—Mrs Margaret Taylor. Messrs Walter Anderson, John McJennett, and Ben Yeoman. Donations totalling £2 16s were acknowledged.
