MEETING OF COMMITTEE

A meeting of the committee of the Forbury Park Trotting Club was held on Thursday night, those present being Messrs B. S. Irwin (chairman), H. Halliday J. E Bruton, A. Ferguson, C. R. Hadfield, and A. H. Todd. The chairman made reference to the death-of Mr John McDonald, who, he said, was the oldest member of the Tahuna Park and Forburv Park Clubs and a member of the committee of the former club. The principal race will be for a 4.34 class, with a stake of £BOO. The classes for the events for unhoppled trotters will be 3.46 and 5.3. The principal sprint event is for a 3.5 class. Other events for pacers are a two-mile 4.42 class, a mile and three furlongs 3.12 class, and two events of a mile and a-half for 3.38 and 3.34 classes respectively.
