AMERICAN POLICY ATTACKED

CUT-THROAT COMPETITION WASHINGTON, (Rec. 11 p.m.) Mar. 22. Senator R. O.- Brewster told the Senate that a Commerce Sub-commit-tee was studying a proposal to establish a 1,000,000,000-dollar air line to handle ‘ American foreign air trade. The United States departed from the Chicago Aviation Conference declaring war on Britain and Russia in the air. He attacked the United States commitment to freedom of the air as a policy of cut-throat competition. He said it initiated a trade war in the air that might have catastrophic consequences.
