UNDER PIERS AT CEBU
MIDGET SUBMARINE PENS (Rec. 1 a.m.) NEW YORK, Mar. 23. The New York Times Manila correspondent says the. Japanese constructed pens for midget submarines under the piers at Cebu, which is one of the reasons why the city was so heavily bombed. The Fifth Air Force sank 13,695 tons and damaged 50,790 tons.
