DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE Bank of New Zealand shares were wanted at £2 7s 9d on the Dunedin Stock Exchange yesterday, with sellers asking £2 Bs. Commercial Banks were offered at 17s 9d, but no buyer advanced a bid above 17s 6d. and E.S. and A. Banks were sought at £4 13s, without result. National Insurances were quoted at £1 4s 3d (buyer) and £1 4s 9d (seller), and Standards were offered at £4. There was a seller of New Zealand Refrigerating (cont.) at 13s 6d, and New Zealand Loan and Mercantiles (ord. stock) were on offer at £66. New Zealand Breweries were sought at £2 4s 3d, but no sellers were attracted. Dunedin Breweries had an inquiry at £1 Bs, with sellers quoting at £1 10s 6d.
