BRITAIN’S NEW BOMB
DESTRUCTIVENESS PROVED (Rec. 7 p.m.) RUGBY, Mar. 21. Reconnaissance has furnished fresh evidence of the destructive power of the 10-ton bomb. The Arnsberg railway viaduct has collapsed into the river, either because of a direct hit cr because a bomb exploded in the bed of the river and undermined the foundations. Two sltans, about 100 ft long, are down. The embankment leading to the viaduct is also cut over a distance of 115 ft by a vast crater, the centre of which is at the base of the embankment. Rails are hanging over the gaps.
