Lonsdale gave an inspiring address on ” The Overcrowded Lift,” pointing out that in the busy lives of to-day material things crowded our. the spiritual. The thought was—" Of aii the things you wear, your expression is the most important.” Kaikorai.—Mrs Harms presided. “ From Southampton to Sourabaya ’’ was the title of an address by Mrs Leycoak, who described her experiences in certain ports at which the Dutc& liner in which she and her husband travelled called. Mrs Herd brought the thought—" There is no beautifier of complexion or form or behaviour like the wish to scatter joy and not pain around us.” A pianoforte solo, “ Finlandia,” was contributed by Mrs ' Edmiston. 1 Milton.—Mrs H. Wilson nresided. Seme 20 members of the Mornington branch ] paid its annual visit. Mrs J. Bowie , read the Scripture lesson, and Mrs D. ' Cockerlll read a comprehensive report on . the provincial meeting. The thought. ■ given by Mrs E. Olver, wes entitled “ Rations.” Miss Mercer rendered two solos. Miss Ford, adviser in infant room methods to the Education Department in Auckland and Hawke’s Bay, spoke on her work and travelling experiences. Mrs Magee moved a vote of thanks, and flowers were presented to Miss Ford, Miss Mercer, Mrs J. Nelson (Mornington president), Mrs A. Rowley (Mornington sec- i retary). and Mrs H. Wilson. Mrs Nelson : responded. ’ Roslyn.—Mrs D Y. N. Millar presided and welcomed members and visitors from ; Kaikorai, Caversham. and Lyall Bay. Mrs ; Woodhouse sang two solos.
