Mr Ernest W. Hunt, of Wellington, lias been appointed a trustee of the Nuffield Trust Board to fill the vacancy caused by the death of Sir James Grose. Mr Baxter O’Neill, secretary of the New Zealand Amateur Swimming Association, will arrive from Christchurch to-morrow to attend the interprovincial swimming contest between Otago and Southland on Saturday. District Governor Harold Thomas, of Auckland, who is the head of Rotary International in New Zealand, is at present in Dunedin in the course of a visitation of all Rotary Clubs in the Dominion.
