SWIMMING CARNIVAL

No fewer than 12 holders of New Zealand swimming titles will appear in the interprovincial swimming contest between teams from Otago and Southland at the Municipal Baths on Saturday night. The Oago team will be almost, identical with that which won the W3r Memorial Shield at Wellington in January, and the Southland swimmers include those who performed so well to be runners-up.
