ARM CUT OFF BY MACHINE
(P.A.) GORE, Mar. 20. An employee of the Mataura Freezing Works, Norman J. Shore, aged 24, the only son of Mr J. Shore, of Jacobstown, was admitted to the Gore Hospital this morning after having his right arm amputated. He was endeavouring to clear a skin mangle when his arm was caught in the belt and cut off above the elbow. His condition is reported to be serious.
