DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE
On the Dunedin Slock Exchange yesterday Bank of New Zealand shares were sought at £2 7s 6d, with sellers offering at £2 Bs. E.S..and A. Banks were offered at £4 15s, but no buyer advanced a bid above £4 Ills. National Banks ol New Zealand were wanted at £2 13s, with 1 sellers asking £2 15s. National Insurances were quoted at £1 4s 3d and £1 4s 9d, and Standards at £3 19s and £4 Os 9d. There were buyers o£ New Zealand Refrigeratings (paid) at £1 8s 3d. Wright, Stephenson (ord.) were sought at £1 7s 6d, with sellers Gd away. DunI edin Breweries were offered at £1 10s Gd, but buyers sought shares at £1 8s Gd, and New Zealand Breweries were wanted at £2 4s. An offer of £1 9s for Westport Coals failed to attract sellers, who I quoted £1 10s Gd. Bruce Woollens (ord.) were quoted at £1 -13 s Gd (buyer) and £1 14s 3d (seller), and buyers sought ' British Tobaccos at £2 Ds 6d.
